Annual plan savings were great

As a first-time user, I was looking for the best deal. I signed up for the Professional Plan and chose the annual billing option, which saved me a good chunk compared to monthly. I also made sure to catch a Cyber Monday offer that was running, which added an extra discount. The platform has been really useful for creating Empathy Maps and Stakeholder Maps for a new project. For the price I paid, considering the features like Team Collaboration Tools and Presentation Mode, I felt it was definitely worth the investment for my budget-conscious team. Very happy with the value.

Good tool, some minor glitches

I recently subscribed to Uxpressia's Professional Plan for our small design team. The Journey Mapping Tool itself is quite robust, and the real-time editing feature was a huge plus for our remote setup. We used it to create several Customer Journey Maps and a few Service Blueprints, and the templates made it easy to get started. I liked the PDF export for sharing with stakeholders. However, the Jira Integration was a bit finicky to set up, and we had a couple of instances where changes didn't sync immediately. Customer support was responsive when I contacted them, which was good. Overall, it's a solid platform for CX work, just expect a few small bumps along the way.

Easy to use Persona Builder

I tried the Persona Builder. It was straightforward and helped me organize my research fast. The interface was clean. Exported to PNG easily. Met my needs.

Trying to decide between Uxpressia and Miro. Anyone used both and can tell me the pros and cons for journey mapping?

R Robert Evans 3 weeks ago
Uxpressia is super focused on journey mapping and personas, so it feels more guided. Miro is more of a blank canvas, good for general whiteboarding but can be overwhelming for specific CX stuff.

I found Uxpressia templates really helpful for getting started. Miro is fine, but you have to build a lot more from scratch for journey maps.

If I get the annual plan, do I save money? Or is it basically the same as paying monthly?

J John 5 days ago
You definitely save money with the annual plan. Like 20% usually. It's their standard deal.

yeah, I always go annual for SaaS if I know I'll use it. Less hassle and usually a good chunk cheaper.

Thinking about getting Uxpressia for my startup. Is the free version actually useful or just a demo?

A Adam 1 month ago
It's pretty decent for basic stuff, you can do a few maps and personas. Good for getting started without commitment.

Yeah, I used the free one for a while to just try out the features. You'll probably want to upgrade if you're serious about team collaboration though.

Hey, does Uxpressia have any integrations with other tools? Specifically wondering about Jira or Slack.

P Patricia Brown 1 month ago
Yep, it totally integrates with Jira and Slack. I use the Jira one all the time for linking maps to tickets.

They also have Trello and some analytics stuff too, if that helps. Pretty good for keeping everything connected.

I saw a Black Friday deal mentioned somewhere for Uxpressia. Is that a real thing or just old info?

A Alex Gomez 2 weeks ago
Oh yeah, they totally do Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Saw some last year, usually a good percentage off.

Keep an eye out around those times. They often have like 30-50% off for new subscriptions, but usually for the first year only, afaik.

I'm a student, is there any special pricing for me? Would really help out my budget.

L Lisa Flores 2 days ago
Definitely. They have an academic plan, I signed up for it last semester. Just look for student discounts on their site.

Yeah, I think non-profits can get a deal too. Worth checking their specific programs.
